General Rules

1. No god-modding: God-modding is the act of making your character invincible or unable to fall. In a Cthulhu story such as this, where humans are considered basically a joke to the elder things, it would ruin the story. Instead of policing all of you, I trust you to make your characters act accordingly with what they're faced; like if someone with a fear of heights has to walk across a small beam tens of miles above the ground, they wouldn't act ccc (calm, cool, and collected), they would be panicked beyond reason. Or if a single man with a pistol is pinned down by thirty-odd cultists with machineguns, he obviously isn't going to be living to see tomorrow. Just make it make sense and act logically, and I just might give you a break once.

2. No killing off other players' characters: Should go without saying, but I feel I should specify. The life of a character (or NPC) is in the hands of the one playing them (or who had created them), or by me in extreme circumstances (ie breaking rule #1)..

3. Don't control other players' characters: This is mostly to prevent anger between players, however small actions (following through doorways, eating, etc) are fine to control. All other actions are to be consulted with the player. I'll safely assume posts with multiple characters doing things under one poster have been agreed on, so if you see a post that has your character without your consent, private message me and I will remedy the situation to the best of my ability.

4. Language: The Cthulhu Mythos is a scary and adult universe, so language will be tolerated if not used in excess. I will determine what point that is and tell you when you've reached it when it happens.

5. Sexual material: The Cthulhu Mythos is an adult universe, however this is not a porn game. All sexual content is prohibited from being posted, I will delete all posts with explicit content as I see them. HOWEVER, signs of affection (ie kissing, hugging, etc) are completely allowed.
